PRIMARY

Activity based teaching and play way method is the ultimate to reach to our children and create an atmosphere of global learning and acquiring all the 21st century skills.

An attractive resource room for primary section with audio - visual equipment’s like LCDs, DVD player, LCD TV, digital library,interactive board, and magnetic white board, subject wise well displayed TLMs, Dice machine with dices relevant teaching aids to supplement learning are displayed and used effectively.

World Renowned English enrichment program - learning A - Z graded books and laminated ready cards are also used during class - library periods.To facilitate the smooth running of activities,block periods are allotted at least twice a week for each subject.

As far as possible two-teacher norm is being followed inclasses I and II and three -teacher norm for classes III & IV and four - teacher norm for class V. One period for CCA is given for each class. Regular monitoring of class room teaching and evaluation processes for qualitative implementation is done by the Principal and Coordinator. Duplicating Digital Copier is available exclusively for the primary which is used for making worksheets and question papers.

Every month TLM for classes I to V learning is procured and used effectively in all primary classes. Records are maintained for the same.Two rounds of medical checkup is mandatory one each in August and January.

Filmshows on Value Education are arranged for primary classes twice a month (fortnightly). CDs procured from children Film Society and other value based film CDs are viewed and a film show review is maintained by students and teachers. Exposure to nature and field trips are being arranged for classes I to V once in a year.

Summative Assessment and Formative Assessment for classes III to V is being followed as per CBSE norms. Formative assessment FA I is being conducted in the month of July and FA III in the month of January. 

Teachers use play way method to reinforce and revise the activities of minisports, CCA, Cubs and Bulbuls Utsav, Grandparents Day and important festival celebrations through games, thus bringing about “Joyful learning”.

To identify the hidden talents of children in the fields other than academics and sports we have been arranging ECA Classes like Karate, Archery, Skating, Instrumental Music, Silambam, Yoga and Dance for all the children of which two is compulsory-classrooms are established in the primary section for learning through Smart boards and LCD.
